Erra May 08 2023 10:48 pm Really love how this drama flow. the plot is perfect, the picture is great, the chemistry among characters is really great. for some people may think that this drama has slow pace story, but for me amazingly i really enjoy the flow to understand more about charaters' emotions. love how mature their love is, n how wise woo joo's mom. Today finished k-drama 'The Interest of Love' Based on book, This romantic drama is understated. It's not the typical cliché romantic genre kdrama with hyper energetic characters doing random things in the name of love. It's a portrayal of love, inexpressive love n longing, yearning, heartbreaks n melancholy. Overall 8.5. Story 7.0. Acting/Cast 9.0. Music 6.0. Rewatch Value 6.5. As you might've noticed, even though I graded each category quite harshly, the overall score is high. When rating, I found myself confused as too why I liked this drama so much, apart from the cast. Acting/Cast 8.5. Music 6.0. Rewatch Value 5.0. This review may contain spoilers. This turned out to be a big dissapointment. I have to say that I really love the idea of the Joalert. Before it was aired, when I read the plot I thought that it was indeed a cool idea and that it would be a great drama. As a kdrama fan, I still don't get what so good in survival dramas. It's not my usual type of genre. But recently this genre got more popular. Sweet Home, Squid Game n Now Happiness. But I still like Happiness Kdrama and the reasons are simple Han Hyo Joo one of my favorite actress. Kdrama are addictable. I finished watching it. It was good. Unlike the flurry of epilepsy inducing shaky-cam and quick cuts in fellow k-drama Vagabond, My Name draws much closer to Luca: The Beginning, with long, drawn out sequences and impressive choreography. Thankfully it doesn’t take any of the story influence from that sci-fi train-wreck though. KxaTt3.
